Watched the season three relaunch of Sherlock this weekend, after the two year hiatus, the episode – The Empty Hearse aired on PBS on Sunday the 19th, two weeks approximately after it premiered in the UK.

I enjoyed it. It’s a fun, modern day twist on the Sherlock character, obviously quite different than Elementary, but to be honest – I somehow missed all the buzz about how did Sherlock survive and where has he been, et cetera. I saw the season two finale and then kinda forgot about the show until it came back on again . . . I guess I really should pay more attention . . .

So that’s season three of BBC’s Sherlock with Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman, over. Yes, UK TV seasons are extremely short by American standards, but that’s a topic for a different post.

Enjoyed the season and enjoyed this last double episode of season 3. But I’ve got to ask, you have the governments of the entire world under your thumb and all you really want to do is repeatedly flick John Watson in the forehead? Seriously?
